Baby: the making!

I just loooove drawing babies. They are adorable!
This is for my friend KC and her little angel.

This is the original picture

I started with an outline


Then worked on the basic shadows of the face

Worked my way down the clothes and hand

Added some background shading

Then last was the foreground

And the most important part ;)



Portrait was completed around the same time it took me to watch the movie Freaky Friday.
